Special Operation Group (SOG) Jammu achieved a major success by  recovering huge number of bottles of Banned drug Codein Phosphate concealed in boxes by two drug smugglers in a truck bearing registration  No. JK03E-7806 near Sidco Lane  of district Samba  this evening.

The accused have been identified as  Shabir Ahmed Lone S/o  Mohd Ramzan lone  and Sohail Ahmed S/o -Bashir Ahmed both residence of Docchu Shopian kashmir.

Reports said that on reliable information sleuths of SOG Jammu led by Insp Sudheer Sharma and of Police Station Samba intercepted atruck bearing no JK03E-7806 near Sidco Lane Samba which was on way from Punjab to Srinagar and after thorough searching of truck 1100 bottles of banned drugi.e 900 P Coff- T 100 ml and 200 bottles of Apdyl-CM  concealed in boxes  kept in specially designedchambers inside the vehicle were recovered .

Cops seized the vehicle and arrested the driver andconductor of the truck. Case under relevant sections of NDPS act was registeredat Police Station Samba.

The whole operation was monitored closely by SSP SOG JammuShri Sandeep Mehta-KPS and supervised by SSP Samba Shri Shakti pathak-KPS
